Our commitment
Neola Dental is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Measures we take
We actively work to improve the accessibility of this website. Our current efforts include:
- Providing keyboard navigation support throughout the site.
- Including descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Ensuring sufficient color contrast for text content (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text, per WCAG 1.4.3).
- Labeling all form fields with associated labels and required indicators.
- Using semantic HTML headings to create a clear document outline.
- Providing skip-to-content navigation for keyboard users.
- Managing keyboard focus correctly in modals and menus.
- Respecting the browser preference for reduced motion.
- Testing with automated accessibility tools during development.
Known limitations
We are continuously working to improve our site. Some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are aware of the following areas under active remediation:
- Heading hierarchy on certain interior pages (in progress).
- Language attributes on patient testimonials written in languages other than English (in progress).
We do not use accessibility overlay widgets (such as AccessiBe or UserWay), which are not a substitute for genuine code-level accessibility improvements.

Technical information
This website is built with Next.js and uses semantic HTML5, ARIA attributes, and progressive enhancement to support assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and voice control software.
We test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using a combination of automated tools (axe-core) and manual review.
